Job Summary
The Specialist – Global Labeling Projects is responsible for the project coordination of graphic design, artwork development, approval processes, including project definition, translation management, and label review. Projects include R&D product development, sustaining activities, new acquisitions, and manufacturing transfers for all products produced by Cardinal Health.  Must ensure customer requirements are met and standardization of artwork development process to comply with Cardinal Health design standards. In this position individuals are required to have the ability to make decisions regarding creation and approval of new artwork for projects.  Must understand the process and be able to work independently on all assigned projects.

Responsibilities

• Manages labeling projects, artwork reviews, and final artwork creation with designers/proofreaders according to launch and phase in schedules
• Ensures customer requirements are necessary for the generation of label copy for product documentation, packaging, and product artwork.  Works closely with functional areas to define labeling requirements and project expectations, ensuring compliance with Regulatory and legal requirements and standards, and addressing questions from project teams.
• Effectively manages multiple projects, changes in project scope, and shifting priorities to maintain project requirements and ensure deadlines are met.
• Manages label review meetings; to obtain approvals and /or answer questions related to artwork, including the development of meeting minutes
• Collaborate with department and cross-functional peers to ensure proper resolution to questions and issues during the artwork development process  
• Provides support for new product development teams and attends weekly projects meetings as required.
• Manages the translation process as necessary for all approved English label copy.
• Provides support and status updated to key project team and label reviews as necessary throughout project duration.
• Continually reviews labeling development processes to ensure quality in output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Previous experience in labeling coordination preferred
• Understanding of label printing applications.
• Working knowledge of PC software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PLM systems.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Anticipated Hourly range: $26.90 - $34.47
