Regularly plans, evaluates and monitors the needs and requirements of local requisitioners. Utilizes existing frame contracts and agreements, but also buy from additional sources, if necessary and appropriate. Plans the needs according to plan, monitor relevant stock inventories, and respectively place the procurement orders. Plans and carries out routine evaluation of suppliers, responsibly undertakes call for tenders, and evaluate offerings. Supports supplier management, and approaches supplier in case of claims in order to settle disputes, within given limits.
