Job Summary:

The ER Coordinator provides day-to-day support to the ER Manager and Executive Director to support operational aspects of ER such as investigative reporting, case intake from the HR Service Center, etc. This individual has the potential to assist the ER Manager and other investigation team members with non-complex investigations pending case volume. This position reports to the Employee Relations Manager.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Assists with case deployment, monitoring cases that are sent to ER from the HR Service Center. Works with ER Consultants to support with case creation and other administrative tasks within ER.a. Generates special reports upon request. Supports ER projects from an administrative and PMO perspective. Provides support to the HRSC on ER content management, ensuring that all policies and information on employee self-service portal is accurate. Assists in analysis of data to identify ER case trends, providing recommendations on areas to focus for proactive risk management. Helps with audit of case documentation within the ER system. Potential to handle non-complex investigations and advisory work, with oversight from ER Manager. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

  • Associates Human Resources Management or Associates Business Administration/Management or Bachelors Human Resources Management-Preferred or Bachelors Business Administration/Management-Preferred

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

    Additional License(s) and Certification(s):

    SHRM-SCP - SHRM Sr Certified Professional Upon Hire Preferred or SPHR - Sr Prof in Human Resources Upon Hire Preferred or

    Required Minimum Experience:

    Minimum 1 year of Employee Relations experience; Experience in Healthcare Preferred

    Required Minimum Skills:

    Some knowledge of Employee Relations, HR policies, and procedures. Ability to handle confidential information. Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and business acumen. Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with strong customer service orientation. Strong customer service orientation.
