As part of our team, you'll secure Market Access and Reimbursement for Abbott Medical technologies in Belgium and the Netherlands, while also supporting market access priorities in Luxembourg as needed. • Secure Reimbursement:

  • Champion the timely submission and effective handling of local processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

• Market Access Strategies:

  • Craft and execute innovative market access strategies and implementation plans.
  • Align these strategies with our business goals and foster strong partnerships with country/regional leadership.

• Engagement with Key Stakeholders:

  • Lead high-level engagements with health insurance executives, government officials, medical key opinion leaders, and HTA agencies.
  • Influence decision-makers and drive positive outcomes for our technologies.

• Hospital Consultancy:

  • Spearhead market access initiatives with hospital stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to ensure seamless execution.

• Collaboration with EMEA HE&R Leaders:

  • Define priorities, build robust strategies, and align with business leaders.
  • Manage budgets effectively and ensure timely execution of activities.

• Market Analysis:

  • Stay ahead of market access trends and health policy changes.
  • Assess and communicate their impact on reimbursement and pricing, providing proactive recommendations.

• External Affairs Advocacy:

  • Lead advocacy efforts related to market access and reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with government and industry association stakeholders, aligning with EMEA Government Affairs and Public Affairs.

Your contributions to the global team will include providing valuable insights on market access for Belgium and the Netherlands, engaging with Global Therapy Leaders, participating in global working groups, and sharing best practices. You'll oversee Market Access consultants, ensuring timely delivery of results and maintaining budget discipline. Additionally, you'll innovate and suggest improvements for the department based on market realities and business needs, attracting and managing department staff and budget if applicable. Developing strategic reimbursement models, including price volume agreements and risk-sharing models, will also be part of your role.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES

To be successful in this role, you should have

• a Master’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Economics/Health Policy, or Medical Areas.
• Proven experience with pricing, reimbursement, and HTA is essential.
• Strong leadership skills, business acumen, and excellent communication abilities are required, along with the ability to balance expertise with time-sensitive demands.
• A solution-oriented mindset, diplomacy, and flexibility are critical.
• Fluency in English and Dutch, with a good command of French, is also necessary.
