Summary: As a MySQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with MySQL databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, install, configure, and maintain MySQL databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot database-related issues, ensuring timely resolution. - Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and availability. - Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal database performance. - Ensure database security by implementing access controls, monitoring user activity, and performing regular security audits. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in MySQL database administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in cloud-based database administration, such as AWS RDS or Azure Database. - Experience in database backup and recovery strategies. - Experience in database performance tuning and optimization. - Experience in database security and access control. - Solid understanding of database architecture and design principles. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in MySQL database administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Gurugram office.
