The Procurement Associate Manager role is responsible for leading and engaging our sourcing to contract (S2C) teams across Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.  The role needs to enable the best environment for the S2C teams to deliver P+ and market objectives.

Working closely with the market Client Experience Lead (CXL) and Market Unit (MU) CXLs the role will establish a framework and governance to ensure our resource is effectively structured, trained, engaged and supported to provide best in class S2C delivery.  The role will be responsible for leading conversations with wider stakeholders for example local country leads and HR functions to ensure we are operating in line with local best practice, guidelines and expectations.

By being part of our team, you will work from Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 18:00 PM in a 90% remote setup.

How you’ll make an impact:

Procurement Delivery:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement methodology, sourcing execution, systems and structure;
  • Experience leading sourcing and contracting activities across a complex geography like EMEA;
  • Uphold Accenture P+ risk management, compliance, and responsible buying policies and best-practices across EMEA;
  • Experience in defining and implementing service levels and delivering services within agreed SLA’s.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage engagement across the EMEA DL identifying areas for focus, owning and implementing an action plan to deliver tangible improvements on engagement metrics;
  • Manage training program for new joiners and teams to ensure people are competent in our ways of working and systems supporting their learning and growth;
  • Encourage a sense of belonging through the wider P+ organization to connect the EMEA DL team to development and growth opportunities;
  • Manage development pathways, succession planning and performance processes in collaboration with MU CXLs helping the team achieve their best performance.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Be a trusted partner for the MU CXLs to ensure the DL team members are delivering in line with expectations and targets;
  • Acts as point of contact for resolution and escalation with stakeholders and the client linked to S2C work delivered by the EMEA DLs.

Skills that make your work successful:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role in procurement and project management;

  • Proven knowledge of procurement methodology, sourcing execution, systems and structure;

  • Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills aligned to a proactive customer-focused approach;

  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication (written & oral), interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills;

  • Project management mid level – advanced.  Ability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach and prioritize tasks appropriately;

  • Comfortable navigating in a multicultural and broad environment and with all levels of the organization;

  • Forward and solution minded, team player and with high degree of self-management;

  • Comfortable working in a matrix type organization;

  • Must be a good team player and be able to strike the fine balance between supporting and challenging the teams to deliver;

  • Experience leading and engaging large teams across several countries including remote / satellite based employees;

  • Advanced English speaker.
