Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the unique requirements of various business functions and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with organizational goals and provide seamless user experiences. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical development tasks with problem-solving activities to optimize application performance and functionality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in software design and development processes.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing testing.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA, Functional Test Planning.
- Should have ISU Testing experience
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and application configuration.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application issues effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data flow within enterprise systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- This position is based at our Indore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
