Job Summary:

The Microsoft SharePoint Platform Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint. SharePoint farms will be maintained in accordance with DoD guidelines to include relevant technology STIGs and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies, as well as strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.


What You’ll Get to Do:


CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, SharePoint Platform Administrator.  This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.  This position is required to travel OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

*    Install, configure, and maintain SharePoint 2019

*    Manage Windows IIS Server

*    Manage SharePoint Online

*    Review and remediate identified vulnerabilities

*    Review and apply quarterly releases of STIGs for all relevant technologies (SharePoint, Windows Server, IE, and .NET Framework)

*    Troubleshoot SharePoint Web Applications, site collections, and authentication, and load balancing.

*    Troubleshoot Windows Server

*    Stay up-to-date on the latest SharePoint features and technologies

SharePoint Administrator with Platform Experience is a Must.


Provide assistance via remote access, phone, or in person. Candidates need excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as some experience with troubleshooting operating systems and network connectivity.  They must be customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of resources.


More About the Role:


The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, have strong leadership skills, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner.  The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.  The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.


Additionally, the SharePoint Platform Administrator will provide remote support, participate in a rotating on-call schedule, and/or travel to customer sites as required.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience
  • 3+ years recent specialized experience with SharePoint administrator
  • CompTIA Security+ (IAT Level II or greater)
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a top secret clearance


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active Windows Server, SharePoint, or Office 365 certification
  • ITIL v4 - Foundation
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
