Focus of the role

As a Principal Security Sales Architect Team Leader, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of Telstra’s solutions and services, along with your understanding of market and industry trends, to fulfill the key responsibilities. You are a trusted technology advisor and customer advocate who thrives on developing comprehensive, tailored technology solutions for our customers. You understand Telstra’s customer needs intimately, applying your deep knowledge of our solutions and services and key relationships (e.g. Account & Sales Team) to influence their technology strategy.

What you’ll do

As a Principal Security Sales Architect Team Leader, you will lead and manage a team of security sales architects, and providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve defined outcomes and targets; whilst fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

You will Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business and solution opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to align technical sales strategies with overall business goals.

Engage with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to present and demonstrate the value of our security products and services. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to foster long-term partnerships.

Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including solution design, architecture, and implementation planning.

Collaborate with the broader Telstra team to understand and communicate the technical aspects of our security services to clients.

Tailor and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to meet the specific business requirements of potential clients.

Monitor and analyse the performance of the security sales architect team, both individually and collectively, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our security solutions and network with potential clients.

Participate in industry forums and contribute to thought leadership initiatives

Key Attributes:
•            Proven Sales leadership motivating Security Architecture Sales Teams

•            Deep understanding of Technical cyber security concepts & solution outcomes

•            Technical understanding of multiple network solution outcomes

•            Demonstrated experience in leading & winning complex security services

•            Demonstrated technical security relationships with large enterprise customers

•            Demonstrated experience developing security services & solutions to be delivered in mark

About You
The ideal candidate will have highly developed skills and experience of technical cyber security concepts & solution outcomes in customer management, development, enterprise consulting and development solutions.
•            Extensive proven experience with relevant technologies
•            Experience in designing/delivery of key security solutions
•            Experience inleading high performing security sales teams
•            Ability to provide advisory and present solutions to clients
•            Good communication skills, high level of technical expertise and extremely passionate about technology.
