The Service Transition Specialist will be responsible for the following areas:
Operational Readiness
This role will set-up, own and execute the Operational Readiness process with the main goal to ensure that projects will adhere to their obligation to ensure the support and service teams which maintain services are provided/enabled with all the information they require to perform their function following the completion of projects. Operational Readiness is the method/procedure by which Technology assesses, monitors and reports the progress of this task.
Support the Change Control Process including the build and Deployment processes
This will involve working with the Transition team in EMEA Tech office to ensure that applications that provide critical and important functions are covered by controlled process and that we can evidence the control provided via standard reporting.
Onboarding and support of the existing processes and support for the application teams is a critical part of this role
IT Configuration Management Process
This role will work closely with the Config team in EMEA Tech where the bulk of the config work is being done for MUFG Bank (Europe) N.V. Main goal of the function is to define and control the components of IT services and its Infrastructure, and to maintain accurate configuration information.
Function positioning
Systems Division supports MBE’s IT structures with regard to IT applications, infrastructure and hardware. There are 4 pillars in the division:
1. IT Planning
2. IT Service Delivery
3. IT Security
4. Local Branches IT
The AVP Service Transition Specialist reports to the Head of IT Service Delivery who reports to the Head of IT Division.
The role includes the following responsibilities:
Operational Readiness:
• Assessment of Operational Readiness categories applicable to the project during the initial project phase
• Continuous engagement with the project team during the project lifecycle; and provide ongoing assessment/tracking of crucial operational readiness deliverables expected for the given phase
• Record update for each assessment category
• Gather signoff from functional owners of assessed categories
• Schedule OR review meetings (joint responsibility with Project Manager)
• Status reporting
Change Management:
• Migration of application code repositories to GitHub Enterprise
• Configuration of JFrog Curation to ensure Secure Coding practices are embedded.
• Migration of build processes to GitHub Actions / TeamCity
• Linkage of builds to binary repository storage (Artifactory) and deployment automation (OpenText Deployment Automation)
• Liaise with infrastructure and application teams to ensure proposed solutions are workable.
• Support and maintain all elements of the Build and Deployment platform.
• Assistance with any required reporting from ServiceNow to support IT Change Management DORA Requirements.
Configuration Management:

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:
Function requirements:
• Ideally 3+ years of experience supporting financial institution(s) in the capacity of a Service transition Specialist
• Highly skilled IT professional with a comprehensive background in IT Service Transition
• Strong background in Operational Readiness, Change ad Configuration Management
• Experience in collaborating with off/near-shore support and delivery teams
• Possessing high level of analytical ability where problems are typically unusual and difficult
• Experience in working in a high-pressure environment to deliver first class services
• Familiar with the specific Security and Regulatory standards associated with IT Service Transition
• Has a background in common service focused frameworks such as ITIL
• Verbal and written communication skills in English is essential, Dutch is an advantage
• Ideally ITIL qualification, preferably Foundation at version 3 or above
Technical Competencies:
• GitHub Enterprise, including GitHub Advanced Security in a practical situation
• Excellent understanding of Build, Deployment and Software Configuration management tooling and processes.
• Excellent knowledge of IaC principles and methods (Terraform, AWX, Ansible, Bicep, ARM templates)
• Good ability with scripting methods. (including Perl, Powershell, shell, groovy)
• Artifactory – configuration / management / integration with Build tools (including REST methods)
• TeamCity / GitHub Actions (CI/CD build)
• ServiceNow Change

We will offer you:
• Gross salary based on experience and consistent with the market
• 8% holiday allowance and 13th month payment.
• 30 vacation days per year. Optional you can buy 15 additional days.
• Commuting allowance based on annual public transport 2nd class, most economical way, or € 0,23 per km with a max of 75km one way.
• €5,00 net remote working compensation per day, with a maximum of €60,00 per month.
