Job Responsibilities:
Design and manage the cabling infrastructure, including fiber optic, and twisted pair cables.
Develop and maintain cabling standards and best practices to ensure scalability and performance.
Perform site assessments to determine cabling requirements and provide recommendations.
Create and maintain detailed records of cabling layouts, configurations, and project plans
Plan, coordinate, and oversee cabling-related projects from conception to completion.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Select and manage vendors and contractors for cabling installation and maintenance.
Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Review and approve vendor proposals, contracts, and invoices.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network infrastructure design and project management.
Strong understanding of network cabling standards and best practices (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI).
Experience in designing and managing complex cabling infrastructures.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with network hardware and equipment, such as switches, routers, and patch panels.
Proven experience in managing large-scale cabling projects.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Certifications (preferred but not required): CNCI, BICSI
