Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for proactively managing the team cadence, leading strategic sourcing initiatives and driving synergies across GE Vernova’s Professional Services & Programs (PSP) category and beyond. This role will report directly to the Executive leader of PSP and partner with Global Category Leaders (GCL’s) across the global PSP team and HQ Indirect Sourcing team to develop strategies and manage initiatives that drive improvements in customer experience, employee efficiency and the overall cost of the organization.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Accountability for managing the operating rhythm of PSP team execution of the PSP lean roadmap
- Driving the PSP team lean roadmap, establishing and executing action plans aligned to category playbooks
- Maintaining and continuously improving all team templates for standard work, daily management, lean roadmap and budgeting process
- Leading internal and external Lean Projects, Kaizen facilitation
- Serve as trusted advisor to multi-functional stakeholder teams to design and implement specific strategic sourcing initiatives to meet business requirements and priorities
- Implement best practices from the broader sourcing organization into PSP where appropriate
- Measuring and tracking internal performance within each spend category
- Monitoring strategy implementation to ensure benefit realization
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, or equivalent consulting experience
- Strong experience in influencing teams and demonstrating ability to lead organizational, process, and culture changes
- Proven record of Lean experience

Desired Characteristics
- MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, IT Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering
- Category management / sourcing experience in a multinational company
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills (spend analytics, should-cost analysis, market R&I) and proven track record to resolve problems
- Demonstrated change management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong project management skills
- Kaizen facilitation experience
- GE Vernova Leadership Program graduate (OMLP, EEDP, DTLP, FMP, CAS)
