About the role:
FT Longitude is looking for an Influencer Relations and Community Manager to lead the development and growth of its qualitative research offering. This role will be responsible for sourcing subject matter experts (SMEs) for interviews, developing a Thought Leadership Network community, and supporting innovative qual research methodologies. You will manage a growing product line while working closely with internal teams, ensuring GDPR compliance and driving collaborator engagement.

We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates and collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders, and can effectively lead new initiatives that expand FT Longitude’s qualitative research capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualitative Research Development: Lead the growth of our qualitative research offering, meeting P&L targets while introducing new product lines like AI-led transcript analysis.
  • SME Sourcing: Identify and recruit world-leading experts for interviews, managing a network of freelance interview sourcing specialists.
  • Community Management: Develop a “Thought Leadership Network” of senior B2B executives, building an active, marketable community asset through regular engagement opportunities such as newsletters and event invitations.
  • Compliance: Ensure GDPR compliance across qualitative research processes, including data management and community handling.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, editorial, research, and marketing teams to meet deadlines and deliver innovations.
  • Influencer Relations: Manage relationships with interviewees, coordinate quote approvals, and gather feedback to improve research processes.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in collaborator management and SME recruitment.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven organisational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Understanding of GDPR compliance and the handling of personally identifiable information (PII).
  • Experience in building and managing B2B executive communities is a plus.

    • Proficiency in desktop research, social media research, and database management.
    • Qualitative interview sourcing and community management.
    • Understanding of B2B themes and challenges.
