JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

    Provides direct client and/or community services as necessary to meet program service obligations and maintain appropriate documentation. Ensures compliance with standards, regulations, and laws and works with other leadership staff to ensure the financial viability and census targets of the assigned service area.  Collaborates with leaders throughout the organization to ensure that services provided are high quality, evidence based, and produce positive outcomes for those we serve. Ensures that staff in their assigned areas provide high quality customer service to clients seeking services and to other teams and staff.  Provides feedback and reports to appropriate management staff and, as appropriate, to funding sources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consults with and assist the Director with development of assigned services, and supervise the implementation, ongoing performance, and evaluation of those service areas. Makes changes necessary to achieve desired financial and programmatic outcomes. Works cooperatively with Director to manage expenses and maintain budget for assigned services and/or locations.
  • Researches/develops new service lines that are consistent with agency’s strategic directions.  Markets services in community as needed.  Outreach to clients to solicit feedback about staff and program performance as required.
  • Participates in recruitment and hiring, and maintain primary responsibility for training, supervision, disciplinary action, and performance appraisal of assigned staff and interns. Ensure and/or provide clinical supervision consistently and is of the highest quality.
  • Supervises staff in the collection of service recipient process and outcome data, compile statistical data, supervise conformity to service/program plans, and assist in projecting future program needs and services. Monitors assigned site/location KPIs and communicates information to staff and others as needed to maintain optimal operations/functioning.
  • Works with Quality team to review outcomes data and other established quality measures to ensure quality and effectiveness of services delivered and ensures that training is provided as indicated through analysis of relevant data.
  • Provides direct treatment services according to assigned expectations. To demonstrate clients are the first priority, ensures hours of care expectations and census targets are met and time is dedicated to providing personal growth services to clients, their families and collateral contacts. Prepares for and conduct individual, group, and family therapy for assigned caseload. Provides consultative clinical on call as required to support the crisis team. 
  • Participates in the planning and delivery of community education and consultation, including development and maintenance of community awareness of available services.
  • Monitors compliance with service contracts, subcontracts, licensure, and accreditation standards, grant guidelines, funding agency expectations, and Corporation policies and procedures.  Communicates promptly with quality or compliance teams when there are concerns. Monitors billing and service documents for accuracy and assures billing and funding source requirements are achieved by staff, and document same with supervising signature (LPHA, etc.) as required by payor source.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
  • Knowledge of grant proposal writing.
  • Skill in problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of program planning and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS         

Education Level              

Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field

Years of Experience       

Three years successful program/service experience including supervisory or management duties preferably in a residential substance abuse setting.

Certification/Licensure 

Illinois Clinical Licensure (LCPC or LCSW)

$58,700.00--$82,300.00
