POSITION SUMMARY

This role assists claim professionals with various administrative-type tasks. The purpose of this role is to aid claim professionals, upon request, with the less complex tasks associated with claim handling and the overall needs of the claim department.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The broad objective is to put the right work at the right experience level making way for faster task completion and freeing up claim adjuster time for complex analysis of claims.

Some of the tasks that claim administrators help adjusters with are below. This list is not exhaustive.

  • Non-LSS claim payments
  • Trial calendar updates
  • LSS and Legal X set ups
  • Transferring claims to new adjusters
  • Uploading approved LCRs
  • Assist with the policy redaction and certification process
  • Loss runs (for claims dept only)
  • Assume responsibility of a claim solely for final bill pay and closing
  • Special projects
  • Assist with training claim professionals in various claim systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Graduate or equivalent, some college preferred
  • 1 to 2 years’ of related claims experience in the insurance field  
  • Customer Service experience
  • Skill with MS Office, WORD, EXCEL
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team player skills
  • Computer and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work in multiple systems

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

NY/NJ: $61,500 - $79,900/year

Omaha: $47,600 - $61,923/year

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
