Job Summary:
The Total Rewards Partner is responsible for planning, designing, evaluating, and administering FORTNA’s benefits and/or compensation programs.

Benefits:

The Total Rewards Partner collaborates with internal employees, leaders, and external vendors to administer retirement plans, life, health, and disability insurance. This role involves conducting data analysis, evaluating benefits utilization, preparing reports, and making recommendations for program improvements.

Compensation:

The Total Rewards Partner will help design, implement, and benchmark base pay and incentive programs, including job evaluations, short-term incentives, annual merit, and bonus programs.

Benefits Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities for a Total Rewards Partner include:

  • Conduct data analysis, assess benefits utilization, prepare reports, and make recommendations for program improvements.
  • Collaborate with benefits leadership to design, develop, and refine benefits programs to align with organizational goals and industry trends.
  • Monitor changes in benefits regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Advise on legal requirements, conduct compliance audits, and participate in benefits-related policy development. 
  • Communicate complex benefits information to employees, conduct training sessions, and ensure understanding of benefits options.
  • Study benefits trends, benchmark against industry standards, and provide insights to enhance the overall benefits strategy. 
  • Understand current regulations and stay abreast of changes to ensure benefits programs remain compliant.
  • Meet with benefits vendors for periodic plan review.

Compensation Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities for a Total Rewards Partner include:

  • Conduct salary surveys and market analysis to assess the competitiveness of the organization's compensation programs.
  • Evaluate and benchmark job positions within the organization to determine appropriate salary ranges and classifications.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement annual compensation planning processes and provide support for merit increases, bonus programs, and other pay components.
  • Conduct regular audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Communicate compensation-related policies, programs, and changes to employees and conduct training sessions on compensation-related topics.
  • Review proposed salary increases and provide feedback based on analysis of the labor market and internal equity. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (must be able to be ascertained from the resume):

  • Has working knowledge and experience in benefits and/or compensation program administration
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent customer service, follow-up and communications skills with strong attention to detail

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in corporate compensation or benefits role.
  • Ability to travel when required

Other Qualifications Desired:

  • Experience administering U.S. benefits and leaves of absence
  • Experience in Workday and compensation database systems such as Payfactors
  • Experience in international benefits or compensation

Base Salary Range and Other Relevant Information:

The base salary range for this role is $64,200.00 to $96,300 .  This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.

Travel Requirements:

This position may require up to 10% travel to various sites.
