Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES: Architect, design, and implement full stack web based applications to inform customers of concurrent trends in the Comcast video on demand ecosystem; implementing user interfaces which integrate seamlessly with complex backend systems; perform in-depth user experience research, and prototype interactive systems; develop loosely coupled and reusable components for the web using multiple front end technologies; implement scalable RESTful APIs to aggregate data from multiple systems spread across the Comcast ecosystem; ensure web applications are optimized for multiple platforms and devices; monitor web application performance; ensure security across all tiers of the application; research, assess, and adopt emerging technologies to improve software application development; collaborate with business and other team members to discuss user interface requirements and brainstorm UI ideas; assist in the development of new features in accordance with the team priorities; work on various defects and ensure that the application is functional and visually appealing; communicate with the QA team and rectify site usability issues or deviance from requirements specification based on feedback. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related technical field, and two (2) year(s) of experience working with Angular, Javascript, Typescript, CSS, React, Python, Node JS, Tableau Javascript API, SQLAlchemy, Concourse CI/CD, Pivotal Cloudfoundry, and MySQL.
