Job Summary:

Responsible for transferring product internally and externally throughout the warehouse.

Hours: 1st shift - 7:30 am to 4:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unload trucks and verify counts of raw materials from packing list and enter into receiving log

  • Move released materials into warehouse bin locations and transfer in Inventory control system.

  • Replenish Raw materials to dedicated locations to meet Production need.

  • Supply inventoried raw material items from Inventory Request Forms into Production

  • Return any remaining raw materials from manufacturing to the dedicated warehouse locations and perform transfer in inventory control system.

  • Will be involved in physical inventories.

  • Maintain a current valid certification for forklift use.

  • May work with other areas or departments as needed or as assigned.

  • Any other assignments or projects as given by supervisor or manager.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or 2 years or more of warehouse experience.

  • SAP software, or relative software experience.

  • Forklift experience, a must.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural documents.

  • Ability to perform routine, high school level mathematical operations.

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, E-mail, and Access Windows 0S, as well as the ability to effectively communicate electronically.

Physical Demands

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
