Our Crop Division office is seeking an Administrative Operations Representative.

This position will be based in our Fargo, ND office. Great American’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site five days a week.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of routine administrative operational tasks including one or more of the following:

    • Submit agency and agent appointments

    • Request security for agents

    • Update agency and agent information in the system

    • Verify refund lists

    • Mail monthly commission statements to agencies as required

    • Answer accounting and 1099 questions as necessary

    • Help with parsing forms

    • Participate in scanning documents and fulfilling print orders and document assembly requests

    • Prepares and distributes incoming mail and processes outgoing mail

    • Coordinates the procurement and organization of supplies

    • Assists with scheduling and coordinating meetings and events. May coordinate with catering services, set up, and disassemble food service stations

    • Assists in answering, routing, and screening incoming calls

    • Directing visitors in the office building

    • Work on crop hail rate comparison project in Excel

    • May assist with or coordinate special projects, assisting with the planning and execution

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
