Pay Range:

$47.50 - $71.25

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery team. This position provides a unique opportunity to deliver specialized, patient-centered care to women with pelvic floor disorders in an office based setting.

The APP will work closely with fellowship-trained urogynecologists to evaluate, diagnose, and manage conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal incontinence, and other pelvic floor dysfunctions. This role will be focused on office-based urogynecology.

  • Charlotte – office located on campus of Atrium Health Mercy Hospital
  • Outpatient

Scope of Practice/What You’ll Do:

Clinical Care

  • Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations with a focus on pelvic floor disorders.
  • Diagnose and manage urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed), pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, and bowel dysfunction
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including conservative, medical, and surgical treatment options.
  • Provide patient education on pelvic health, lifestyle modification, and surgical treatment options
  • Perform office-based procedures such as:
    • Pessary fitting and management
    • PTNS (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation)
    • Bladder Catheterization
  • Participate in perioperative care including pre-op evaluation and post-op follow-up

Team & Support Structure

  • Team composed of 3 MDs, 7 APPs
  • Collaborative model supporting a high volume surgical practice
  • Onboarding/training support provided by numerous MDs, APPs and Chief APP as well as the Center for Advanced Practice

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current state licensure and board certification (PA-C or NP)
  • DEA licensure (or eligibility)
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; women’s health, urology, gynecology, or surgical experience strongly desirable
