Micron is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior/Principal DRAM Circuit Design Engineer to join our world-class Engineering Design team in Boise, ID, USA. As a Senior/Principal DRAM Circuit Design Engineer at Micron, you will collaborate globally with various design, layout, and verification teams. You will work closely with Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing to ensure the successful implementation of our products. In our Advanced Architecture DRAM Memory group we’re developing a completely new Architecture that pushes both bandwidth and energy efficiency to levels never seen before in the industry! We’re advancing the optimization of artificial intelligence within our new product line by innovating and integrating end-to-end groundbreaking front-end and backend processes with revolutionary design, debugging various tests, and qualification techniques to develop the lowest power per bit solutions to improve customer experience in the field of ML (Machine Learning) and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

This will be a hybrid role based out of our Boise, ID office.

The Seniority level will be determined by a combination of education and experience.

What’s Encouraged Daily:

  • Implement circuit realization of device specifications and innovate novel circuit solutions.

  • Design digital and analog circuits using CMOS logic gates and transistors.

  • Collaborate with the layout team to create layout floorplans that optimize for the best circuit placement, signal routing, and power delivery.

  • Design memory core circuits and optimize for sense margins, array timings, and die size.

  • Prepare design documentation for other engineers to use.

  • Contribute and participate in Critical Reviews and Design forums.

How To Qualify:

  • BS & 5+ years or MS & 2+ years of experience

  • Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso

  • Understanding Physical Layout & Circuit Floor Planning

  • Experience Simulating with Hspice, Finesim, Verilog, or other simulators

  • Understanding of Device Reliability

  • Problem-solving and Analytical skills
