Employment Leadership - Milan

Job Description

We're Norton Rose Fulbright - a global law firm with over 50 offices and 7,000 employees worldwide. We provide the world’s preeminent corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service. At Norton Rose Fulbright, our strategy and our culture are closely entwined. We know that our expansion will mean little unless it is underpinned by truly global collaboration and we understand that pioneering work only takes place when our people have room to move and think beyond boundaries. As well as the relevant skills and experience, we're looking for people who are innovative, commercial and value the work that they do.

The Team

Established in 2000, our Milan office provides a wide range of transactional and regulatory advice to national and multinational corporations, banks and financial institutions, insurance companies and private equity funds, as well as entrepreneurs across many sectors. We also represent clients in domestic and international disputes.

We have dedicated teams in banking and finance, corporate and M&A, antitrust, dispute resolution and litigation and employment law. Our lawyers in Milan are well-known for their pragmatic, commercial and business-oriented style, as well as specific industry knowledge. We have Italian- and English-qualified lawyers based in Milan who deliver Italian, pan-European and global legal advisory services.

The successful candidate will work as part of a highly motivated secretarial team to provide professional, proactive, high level secretarial and PA support to an antitrust partner and an allocated group of fee earners within the wider fee earning team.

The Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Secretary/PA to support the Head of Italy and the wider Employment team. This is a part‑time position, working Monday to Thursday, from 10:00 to 16:00. The schedule is designed to ensure consistent daily support while offering a focused and balanced working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document production, formatting and proofreading.
  • Monitoring the Head of Italy’s email inbox and managing correspondence.
  • Diary management, scheduling and coordination of meetings and appointments.
  • Handling meeting invitations, logistics and follow‑up documentation.
  • Organisation of international travel (itineraries, flights, hotels, visas, documents).
  • Managing expenses, payments and billing files.
  • Support with pitches, presentations, marketing materials and event organisation.
  • Managing Consolle Avvocato and assisting with hearing preparation.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an international law firm is a plus.
  • Strong IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Basic knowledge and interest in using Artificial Intelligence tools to support organizational and administrative activities.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and multitasking abilities.
  • Accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, problem‑solving attitude and ability to work in a team.
  • Flexibility to support occasional work outside core hours.
  • Strong English language skills
