Your Team, Your Impact

As a test development principal hardware engineer in the Operations business group, you will develop and deliver test hardware required to test advanced silicon semiconductor chips Marvell produces for internal and external customers. You will insure that we optimize our hardware solution to meet the product requirements. You’ll work closely with design, test and product engineering to insure that we can deliver a solution to meet their specifications. The requirements are also to understand and drive supplier roadmaps to insure that we will have access to qualified solutions before they are needed for production.

What You Can Expect

• Drive Test Hardware NPI process from development / ordering / delivery / validation

* Optimize Marvell suppliers and spending on Test Hardware

* Develop and enhance strategic partnerships with suppliers

* Drive Test Hardware Technology reviews and roadmaps to insure alignment with Marvell product requirements

* Develop technical knowledge of industry solutions and drive process to select the optimal technical / business solution for each product.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in test hardware.
  • Candidate with strong technical program management experience preferred
  • A strong knowledge in test hardware development and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in design, development and support of test hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of probe technology
  • Experience in automated IC test equipment's (Automatic Test Equipment, Wafer Probers, Auto Test handlers)
  • Knowledgeable with Test-hardware which includes Probe Cards, Sockets, Load boards and Change kits is a plus
  • Candidate must possess good inter-personal relationship skills as this position requires lots of interactions with other groups and vendors
  • Self-driven individual, able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a multi-tasking, fast paced, team-oriented working environment.
  • Strive to drive projects into an efficient and timely completion.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work across time zones (US / Asia) to drive project delivery.
  • Ability to drive suppliers and partner with procurement in optimizing test hardware spending.
  • The individual will also be working with and communicating with our hardware Test Operations engineering teams worldwide
