The European Profit Management Consultant works with country teams to enhance margin performance in the Endpoint Solution business. This role leverages business, pricing, and technical skills to identify and implement best practices that improve profitability across multiple markets.
Responsibilities include boosting profits by prioritizing, transforming, standardizing, and refining TD SYNNEX’s pricing and profit management strategies, tools, and processes throughout Europe—specifically targeting improvements in Front End Margin, Back End, Freight, and Customer Rebates.
Margin Optimization: Conduct analysis of performance at the country level, identify sources of margin leakage, and propose targeted strategies to enhance profitability.
Pricing Excellence: Facilitate the implementation of comprehensive pricing frameworks, incorporating all trade margin components to ensure precise margin management and mitigate leakage risks.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize SAP and supplementary analytical tools to extract, validate, and interpret data for informed decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with country profit managers, finance, and commercial teams to align objectives and achieve desired outcomes across EMEA.
Process Improvement: Standardize and enhance profit management processes across markets to drive scalability and operational efficiency.
Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor ongoing progress, and report on initiatives aimed at improving margins.
Education: Bachelors in business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA’s ideal).
Experience: 3+ years in profit management, pricing, or financial consulting; multinational margin improvement experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Preferred experience with SAP (pricing, condition records, margin analysis); proficient in Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI.
Business Skills: Knowledge of commercial models, pricing, and P&L; able to convert data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Soft Skills: Goal-oriented, proactive, comfortable in matrix organizations; strong cross-cultural communication, influence and change management.
Languages: Fluent English required; other European languages a plus.
Travel: Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.
Preferred experience in IT distribution.
Familiarity with margin analytics tools.
Exposure to change management and capability building initiatives.
Hybrid work (2 days at the office, 3 days at home).
