PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The Sr. Manager Supply Chain will be responsible for leading the business technical function in support of Distribution and Transportation. Responsible for identifying, initiating, implementing and managing programs to create and enhance processes and technology within Supply Chain. Coordinate synergies and changes among W&D, Transportation CoE's and other departments. Will guide Supply Chain in determining opportunities to automate, standardize and support business processes and functions across the business unit and various technologies. Will serve in project management, change management, and implementation capacities to insure successful system launches, build superusers in the field, track value delivered and sustainability activities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs all process and technology initiatives, enhancements, bug fixes etc. within Supply Chain systems.
Develops, manages and provides effective training for processes, procedures, warehouse management system, VRS, TMS and any other Supply Chain system(s).
Manage warehousing footprint strategy cross-functionally with SC Design leader/analyst.
Investigates process deviations and warehouse / transportation management systems performance, corrective actions and/or escalations.
Conducts facility process and warehouse / transportation management systems audits / inspections and provides corrective action recommendations.
Facilitate the development of bottom up functional business / operation plans utilizing the supply chain analyst(s).
Conducts feasibility, cost / benefit analysis on proposed solution(s).
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure that the sum of the functional business plans yields operations excellence overall and meets the project's expectations.
Ensures Safety, Quality, Service and optimal results are maintained or improved through implementation.
Designs and implements communication strategies to improve employee awareness and knowledge of warehouse / transportation management systems.
Supports determining correct technology assessments, vendor discussions, and benefit analysis.
Lead Master Data Management
Lead technical meetings and discussions.
Partner with Project Governance transformation team, Business process owner CoE and Regional Directors on improvement, process change ideation. Working with IT and/or external partners to provide appropriate solutions.
Determine opportunities to redesign business processes to achieve better business results.
Create / Manage centralized management system for material handling equipment.
Work closely with supply chain finance team for reporting, analysis and budgeting.
Design migration plans off manual process to systemic driven.
Lead Change Management and Implementation of Supply Chain initiatives.
Design and monitor KPI's to drive operational efficiencies and productivity targets.
Design and manage capacity measures, material management targets, inventory levels to goals/targets.
Develop standardized reporting / dashboards as per business needs.
Serve as the primary day-to-day business/technical contact for technology service providers and distribution/transportation teams to aid if troubleshooting required and/or bridge between providers and field personnel.
May provide assistance to junior level staff with more complex tasks that require a higher level of understanding of functions.
May escalate issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.
Mentor other staff as applicable.

Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.
