Job Description

1.Law Firm Management

  • Manage and monitor external law firms to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Assign legal cases to outsourced law firms and follow up on case progress and outcomes.
  • Evaluate law firm performance and provide recommendations for improvement or corrective actions.

2.Legal Documentation Control

  • Review, verify, and control legal documents and case files submitted by law firms.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of legal documentation in accordance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Maintain proper records and document tracking for legal recovery cases.

3.Litigation Tracking

  • Monitor litigation processes including court proceedings, judgments, enforcement actions, and settlement outcomes.
  • Track key milestones of legal cases and escalate issues or delays to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with law firms to resolve obstacles affecting case progress.

4.Legal Cost Management

  • Monitor and control legal expenses, fees, and disbursements incurred by outsourced law firms.
  • Review legal invoices and ensure costs are reasonable, accurate, and within approved budgets.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives related to legal recovery activities.

5.Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams such as Collection, Field Collection Representatives (FCR), Recovery Strategy, and Finance.
  • Provide updates and reports on legal recovery status to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support improvement initiatives related to legal recovery processes and controls.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in legal recovery, litigation support, outsource management, or legal operations
  • Experience working with external law firms, legal vendors, or outsourced legal service providers
  • Basic knowledge of litigation processes, legal documentation, and enforcement procedures
  • Understanding of legal compliance, recovery regulations, and internal control requirements
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and document management systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in banking, financial institutions, AMC, or non-bank financial services
  • Knowledge or experience in NPL/NPA legal recovery processes
  • Familiarity with legal document management systems (DMS) or legal tracking systems
  • Ability to analyze legal data, manage multiple cases, and work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage timelines effectively
