Summary:
As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies to support project goals and client needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, guiding your team through challenges while ensuring that the software development process aligns with best practices and project requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Architecture, Design and Develop Android-based infotainment platform.
2. Work closely with the requirements team, Android porting team, BSP team and Integration teams.
3. Customize and develop BSP for Android 15
4. Adaptation and integration of drivers and kernel modifications
5. Extensive understanding on Android architecture, Android CDD
6. Implement/optimize system services, HAL
7. Conduct compliance testing CTS, VTS, STS
8. Conduct testing and debugging of functionalities to ensure functionality and quality.
9. Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.
10. Work closely with cross-functional teams across globe


Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Overall, 8 to 12 years of experience in Embedded Systems, Android Infotainment domain.
2. Strong experience with Android Automotive OS
3. Strong experience in Linux Kernel, customization, configuration
4. Strong experience in Drivers, Adaptation/customization
5. Strong experience in implementing/customizing BSP for custom IVI platforms
6. Exposure in Samsung Automotive SOC
7. Strong experience in implementing System services, HAL
8. Extensive understanding of Android Architecture, Compatibility definition document (CDD)
9. Exposure in Android 15 BSP
10. Exposure in CTS, VTS, STS
11. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
12. Knowledge in working with Infotainment setup.
13. Exposure in use and Configuration of development environment like GIT, Debuggers, Android build systems
14. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team.
15. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Additional Information:
1. The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Infotainment & Telematics.
2. This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
3. A Bachelor of Engineering in Computers Electronics or any related stream is required.
