We are seeking an experienced and skilled Network Service Engineer with expertise in customer network service configuration to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Network Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing services on the Lightspeed LEO network infrastructure. Your deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, and best practices will contribute to the scalability, reliability, and performance of our network services while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Working directly with our Commercial and Product team, Sales Engineering and Customers as a representative of Network Engineering to consult and provide guidance on configurations via documentation, use cases and test cases that drive optimizations of implemented network service designs.
The Network Service Engineer is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Lightspeed services and configurations available within the service design and portfolio. You will also work with other Lightspeed teams within Telesat and our external contractors to ensure designs, implementation decisions, validation plans and documentation reflect the business requirements and objectives of the Lightspeed program.
Working conditions are generally comfortable, typical of an office environment. Some international travel is anticipated.
