Accountabilities

• Manage strategic accounts to optimize the performance of the Oncology portfolio.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to expand market reach and impact.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and medical institutions to support business growth.
• Develop tailored business strategies designed to achieve ambitious sales and portfolio objectives.
• Represent AstraZeneca's values and standards consistently in all professional interactions with external and internal stakeholders.
• Proactively pursue new commercial and strategic opportunities to maximize portfolio success.
• Collaborate across functions—including marketing, sales, and medical teams—to deliver integrated excellence.
• Conduct scientific discussions and provide educational presentations to inform and engage stakeholders.
• Mentor and support colleagues, sharing expertise and promoting best practices within the team.

Experience/ Skills:

• Completed pharmaceutical representative exam.
• Either completed pharmaceutical representative exam or Scientific degree (MSc equivalent), preferably in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, or veterinary medicine.
• Excellent German and English language skills (spoken and written) and B category driving license.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and Austrian healthcare system, with significant hospital market experience.
• Proven track record in sales, negotiation, and key account management.
• Advanced expertise in products and therapy areas.
• Excellent planning, management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficient with CRM systems, MS Office, and analytical tools.
• High performance drive, initiative, and self-motivation.
• Team-oriented mindset with customer focus and results-driven approach.
• Exceptional selling, negotiation, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexible, resilient, confident, and open to continuous development and change.
• Careful attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
