What we do:

As an Senior account executive  you will partner with clients and their agencies to develop digital strategies to transform their success, identify their business challenges and collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives demonstrating how The Trade Desk can enhance their online presence. 

Your understanding of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical capabilities will drive how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide first class client service, research and market analysis. 

You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of clients and understand how The Trade Desk suite of product can help them grow their business. 

The Senior account executive will be working with the clients of given agencies. This role is a mix of finding and managing new and existing business customer relationships. The Senior account executive will be working closely with the Agency Account Executive team in order to accelerate The Trade Desk brand direct adoption to gain in predictability and stickiness on major strategic advertiser in the French and Belgium markets. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Partner and consult with the customers of the given agencies.
  • Co-developing effective digital Advertising strategies.
  • Increase The Trade Desk’s product knowledge and adoption.
  • Opening the door for new opportunities by communicating to clients the value we can offer across different channels and diversifying our offering. An expert in our solution set; market differentiators and platform. 
  • Optimize client advertising investment and growing the business.
  • Analyzing data trends and client performance to generate industry insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct transformational pitches and sales presentations.
  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to participate in at industry events and conferences.
  • Work closely with internal business development teams and client services teams to identify the next “big bets” developing a solid pipeline of potential clients. 

Who you are: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in business development, client service and solution-based selling.
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles
  • Love winning / prospecting / new business   
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
  • Sales and marketing and/or management consulting experience.
  • Advanced level online media experience, with an understanding of programmatic Advertising.
  • Comfortable operating with the ambiguity of a startup operation, and the ability to influence others without authority.
  • Quick learner – able to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes 
  • Experience in managing longer sales cycles with multiple partners 
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally to collaborate and grow an account
  • Relationships with key stakeholders and technology decision-makers at advertisers
