The RN Float Pool Team offers flexible work-schedules and valuable experience, with exposure to various units and disease processes. There is little to no floor politics, and a chance to be welcomed by the units. Float Pool RNs help ensure adequate staffing in all areas of the healthcare institution.Key Position Details:

Unit Overview: The Medical Surgical Float Pool, nurses have the flexibility to work across various units, including Oncology, Post-Surgical, Medicine, Orthopedics, Neuro/Spine, Mental Health, and Courage Kenny rehab. This diverse environment affords nurses the opportunity to provide care to a wide range of patient populations with varying diagnoses and disease processes, establishing a robust foundation of experience.

Job Description:
Nursing is the assessment and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems. This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family. As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient’s care needs.
Provides nursing care across patient care departments in alignment with the nurses experience and competencies.
