The Opportunity

At Hitachi Energy, we’re powering a more sustainable future—and we’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help make it happen at our Alamo, Tennessee facility. This role is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

You’ll be hands-on in developing and improving manufacturing processes that support the fabrication, production, modification, and repair of Hitachi Energy products. Working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you’ll gain exposure to specialized equipment, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact quality, efficiency, and delivery.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Support the development and application of manufacturing processes

  • Monitor production progress to meet quality and schedule requirements

  • Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and engineering records

  • Perform engineering analyses using computer-based tools and programs

  • Compile and analyze data from multiple sources to support decisions

  • Conduct routine tests and assist with engineering evaluations

  • Prepare reports and visual materials for presentations

  • Collaborate with engineers on complex projects and initiatives

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

  • Up to 2 years of relevant engineering or manufacturing experience

  • Familiarity with standard engineering concepts and practices

  • Experience using computer programs for analysis or reporting

  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively

  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
