Starting Compensation:

20.20 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Fresno, CA

Working Hours/Shift:

Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (40 hour work week)

What you bring to SBHG:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED, HiSET, etc.) required
  • Associate of Arts degree or technical/vocational/secretarial school diploma preferred.
  • (2) years of general secretarial experience in a medical or mental health setting preferred.
  • Medical records experience preferred.
  • Experience with billing/coordination systems preferred.


How you will make a difference:

  • Provides front desk office support including phones, assisting clients and visitors, and managing office communications (email, fax, etc.)
  • Interact with participants, families, referral sources, outside agencies, and staff in a professional, efficient, and quality-focused manner.
  • Maintains various logs and tracking systems
  • Processes referrals, schedules appointments, initiates admission documentation, and other tasks for client intakes.
  • Inputs and maintains client information in the appropriate county and internal systems. Coordinates with county workers and other community contacts when needed.

  • Outpatient community-based programs 
  • Connect people with community resources, including vocational resources for young adults  
  • Group therapy and family Counseling  
  • Medication management and support services
