The Strategy Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and work in close partnership with business heads and senior leadership to analyse opportunities, operate transformational strategies to achieve the business mandate, operate change by partnering with business leadership with clear accountability, provide clarity in complex problems, facilitate decision-making, and guide high value investments.
  • Participate on projects across their lifecycle: identifying the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions.
  • Work with businesses in the execution of improvement strategies.
  • Analyse aspects of client service.
  • Develop relationships with support functions and senior leadership.
  • Conduct in-depth research to support business strategies and identify trends across key business drivers of Citi such as credit, asset trends, cost structure, pricing, product management and operational functions.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years financial/business analysis experience.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural global teams.
  • Ability to think analytically.
  • Ability to synthesize large complex data, derive meaningful insights, and articulate a solution that meets senior requirements.
  • Extremely self-motivated & hard working,
  • Have the ability to take direction and drive results, work with minimal direction, maintain composure even in stressful situations.
  • Excellent Excel and powerpoint skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of Access.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Responsable de diseño, implementación y seguimiento de campañas de comunicación para cada uno de los segmentos de personas físicas del banco (desde el segmento Patrimonial hasta el segmento masivo), con el objetivo de mejorar el desempeño de sus principales indicadores

  • El analista de Ciclo de Vida debe contar un amplio conocimiento del mercado y de las tendencias en cuanto campañas de comunicación en la industria financiera
  • Indispensable contar con habilidad para la construcción de presentaciones ejecutivas con alto cuidado al detalle
  • Se requiere de amplio nivel de organización y estricto cumplimiento de objetivos y fechas compromiso, así como habilidades de negociación y de relación con stakeholders internos y externos
