Key Responsibilities:
- System design & modeling
- Produce optimized loudspeaker system designs using L‑Acoustics design tools (Soundvision, LA Network Manager, or equivalent), CAD, and acoustic modeling.
- Define speaker selection, placement, aiming, processing, and rigging plans to meet SPL, coverage, and intelligibility targets.
- Perform electro‑acoustic calculations (SPL budgets, delay and level settings, time‑alignment, FIR filtering) and simulate performance for various listening zones.
- Project support & documentation
- Create detailed deliverables: system drawings, BOMs, rigging plans, coverage plots, measurement reports, and commissioning notes.
- Prepare fixed installation documentation (installation diagrams, cable schedules, rack layouts, and specifications).
- Coordinate with project managers, integrators, architects, and contractors to align technical requirements and site constraints.
- Commissioning & verification
- Support on‑site commissioning, verification, and acceptance testing, including measurements (SPL mapping, impulse response, RT60), tuning, and final optimization.
- Troubleshoot acoustic, electrical, and networking issues; liaise with R&D and product support for resolution.
- Customer & sales support
- Provide pre‑sales technical consultation and generate proposals that address performance, cost, and logistical constraints.
- Deliver customer training, workshops, and product demos for integrators, sound engineers, and internal teams.
- Act as a technical liaison between sales, product management, and customers during the sales and installation lifecycle.
- Product feedback & continuous improvement
- Collect field feedback and performance data to inform product development and documentation updates.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles, application notes, and best practices.
