ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of our SaaS analytics applications with a focus on innovation, multi-tenant security, scalability, and performance. As a key technical leader, you will play a hands-on role in architecture, coding, and mentoring while shaping our long-term technology strategy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead SaaS Analytics Development  

  • Architect and develop multi-tenant, cloud-native analytics applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) 

  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in a multi-tenant environment. 

Drive Technical Excellence  

  • Design and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and queries using .NET, SQL Server, Snowflake, and BigQuery 

  • Build interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Looker 

  • Develop and maintain JavaScript-based front-end and backend services. 
     

Set Strategy & Best Practices  

  • Define and implement architecture standards, coding practices, and security guidelines for SaaS analytics.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data Science, DevOps) to align business goals with technical execution. 

Mentor & Lead Engineering Teams  

  • Provide technical mentorship to engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.  

  • Conduct code reviews, design sessions, and performance tuning. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a principal or technical lead role. 

  • Expertise in GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, IAM, Pub/Sub). 

  • Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript for front-end and C# backend development. 

  • Deep understanding of multi-tenant SaaS security models. 

  • Experience with Looker (LookML, dashboard design, data modeling). 

  • Proven ability to drive architecture decisions, cloud cost optimization, and system performance tuning. 

  • Passion for mentoring engineers, driving technical strategy, and influencing leadership.  

  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices in SaaS.
