Team Overview  
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of the Project Management Office and collaborate closely with the PMO team members, software developers, and project stakeholders. 

This is a new PMO team, and as such, it offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to and participate in significant team changes.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and support BA team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. 
  • Support the Scrum Master in facilitating daily standups and other agile ceremonies. 
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
  • Utilise existing templates and adhere to established procedures to create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including tasks, actions, issues, and decisions.
  • Ensure timely escalation of critical issues following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and project stakeholders, to facilitate smooth project implementation.
  • Assist in preparing governance materials for regular project meetings to update and communicate project progress.
  • Work closely with the PMO team to implement existing procedures and templates, promoting consistency and efficiency in project management practices. 

Required Skills  

  • 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role. 
  • Minimum of 3 years in Project Management
  • Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills. 
  • Expertise in crafting project management documentation
  • Previous experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as software development, Client Relationship Management and Business Analyst
  • Good knowledge of agile methodologies and experience leading scrum teams.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Excel & PowerPoint
  • You have excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in English (written & verbal)  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • You are able to present to groups of stakeholders at varying levels
  • A positive attitude to collaboration
