At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. We are looking for a Surgical Solutions Specialist to provide best‑in‑class clinical and technical support for our Knee & Hip portfolio, working closely with surgeons and operating room teams.

As a Surgical Solutions Specialist, you will be a trusted technical expert in the operating room, supporting the safe and effective use of our implants, instruments, and enabling technologies, including CORI Robotics. You will build strong relationships with clinical stakeholders while also contributing to pre‑sales activities that help grow our business within existing accounts.
 

What will you be doing?

• Provide expert technical support in the OR for Knee & Hip procedures
• Support safe and effective use of Smith+Nephew implants and instrumentation
• Deliver product training and hands‑on workshops for surgeons and OR staff
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, OR managers and hospital stakeholders
• Coordinate logistics with Customer Care to ensure efficient consignment and loan management
• Support implementation, installation and basic troubleshooting of CORI robotic systems
• Lead and support pre‑sales initiatives to onboard new users and expand product adoption
• Present new products, clinical evidence and value propositions to customers
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Development teams
• Participate in medical education activities, workshops and national orthopaedic congresses
   

What will you need to be successful?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a clinical, technical or scientific field
• Solid knowledge of Orthopaedics and experience in an operating room environment
• Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based role (50–70% travel)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Continuous learning mindset and interest in innovative surgical technologies
  (Experience with robotics or Smith+Nephew products is a strong plus)
