Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our Integrated Compliance Services team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to ensure that marketing communications conform to internal policies and guidelines and applicable US (SEC, FINRA), Canadian and other jurisdictional rules. This position will work with a team of subject matter experts, working and collaborating closely with different compliance teams and business units to support the global wealth and asset management segment in their distribution efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out essential compliance monitoring tasks, including (but not limited to) social media monitoring, daily clippings, website post surveillance and other related ad hoc monitoring activities
Review sales, marketing and other communications materials for Manulife Investment Management’s institutional (and high net worth) business lines
Assist in implementing and maintaining standards and controls for the compliance review process, including process improvement and record keeping
Collaborate on compliance team projects, such as social media, data analysis, and using AI to facilitate review etc.
Share best practices with other team members, thus ensuring consistency in the way business/process/products are developed and maintained to be in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
Qualifications:
College/University Degree and/or equivalent experience in Business or Finance, or related fields
At least 3 years of experience in the investment management industry is required
Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
Working knowledge of the investment, asset management, and mutual fund business and corresponding matters related to the distribution of institutional and high net worth products is highly desirable.
Prior knowledge of (US/CA/EMEA) marketing compliance rules and regulations is a plus.
Good knowledge and understanding of regulatory, legal and industry issues facing the asset management industry would be an asset.
