Essential/Key Functions:

  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
  • Correspond with internal and external customers as needed
  • Strategic planning and execution to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the company’s operations.
  • Develop and direct the management of the organization to ensure customer satisfaction, improved efficiency, increased revenue, and improved employee relations.
  • Oversee implementation of processes and systems that will generate higher productivity and revenues.
  • Develop and direct the management of the plant to ensure that all systems are continuously evaluated for proper operation, relevance and utilization.
  • Ensure that company is migrated toward technology offerings that will generate higher efficiency, enhanced reporting and tracking capabilities and substantial ROI.
  • Interact regularly with senior management team of the op coof the op co and individual department heads to ensure that company’s operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
  • Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures
  • Perform annual reviews of the company supervisors and salary personnel and makes recommendations on improvements, additions, or deletions
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation affecting the company’s employees
  • Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
  • Works directly with department supervisors to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities and ensuring KPI’s are met
  • Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization.
  • Participates on committees and special projects
  • Prepares reports as needed
  • Oversees individual departments with a strategic mindset
  • Create a positive and motivating atmosphere
  • Creates a positive environment to retain skilled and hard-working employees
  • Plan and monitor the daily business efficiency to ensure compliance to KPI’s
  • Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions. 
  • Provides advisory support and assistance to the supervisors and managers as needed. 
  • Responsible for meeting team targets and key performance indicators
  • Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.
  • Working knowledge of data collection and analysis is required for performance and operation metrics
  • Follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner
  • Physical presence on the job is essential and necessary including weekends and holidays if deemed necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Management Responsibilities:  This position oversees all human, financial, and operational resources of the NA facilities and has direct responsibility for business results

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineer / Diploma in Tool & Die
  • Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Tooling industry is preferred.
  • Must have a continuous improvement background/mindset.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing system and ISO system
  • Experience in value stream mapping
  • Exposure in KANBAN system
  • Experience in working multinational company with great machining knowledge.
  • Should handled 200 plus team size in manufacturing industry.
