Buyer Experience Teammate

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team, someone who leads with curiosity and shows a relentless drive to create magical customer experiences. As a member of our Buyer Experience team, you will be a brand ambassador for eBay putting the customer at the heart of what we do.

Key Responsibilities
Be a customer champion, committed to creating magical customer experiences in line with our service standards.
Demonstrate a compliance mindset by striking the right balance across customer, business, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with operational leadership to identify barriers to customer success, while actively supporting a culture of continuous improvement across our standard operating procedures
You will own your commitments ensuring your efforts align with departmental goals and objectives securing eBay's overall success.
You are a pro handling inbound calls within a queue, ensuring consistent customer outcomes.
Demonstrate commercial awareness through value add, which builds customer loyalty and enables business growth.
You come prepared to roll up your sleeves, always agile and flexible, ready to engage in new campaigns, categories, and ways of working.
Foster positive relationships within your network building a trusted, open, and fun work environment.
Relevant Experience & Role Competencies
2+ years of call center or relevant customer service experience
A stellar communicator, with high level of empathy and emotional intelligence
Digital proficiency in navigating web-based & e-commerce specific software applications, office suites, instant messaging, and internet searches
You are customer-centric and maintain a high level of customer care in a variety of different and complicated situations.
Skilled and insightful to the needs of customers
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, and constantly evolving working environment.
We provide 8 weeks of virtual training Monday - Friday.
We require full attendance for the training period and advise that no PTO can be taken in the first 3 months of this position to provide optimum training & upskilling.
Work from Home Requirements:
Must Be Located in Texas.
Have a secure workspace, preferably in a room or office with a door that closes it off from noises and distractions such as pets, children, and other adults.
Willing to work a structured work schedule which includes not being able to undertake the primary care of another individual (such as a child or adult) while working at home.
Wired Internet connection, capable of continuously supporting excellent call quality and high-speed response rates (wireless, DSL and/or satellite Internet Service Providers are not compatible with our systems)
Internet service does need to have a consistent internet speed of 10 mbps download and 4 mbps upload.
Starting pay of $20.00/hr with differentials for swing and weekend shifts
