An exciting opportunity as presented for a dynamic Associate Brand Manager to bring value to our Respiratory portfolio. This role is a driving force for the organization and will be accountable for jointly creating and implementing the operational plan of Respiratory GenMed portfolio based on the brand strategy. You will work closely with the respiratory marketing manager on setting the strategy, executing the operational plan, and with the broader commercial team (including sales) and the cross-functional team of Medical, CTC, Market Access, Omnichannel, Selling Excellence and other supporting functions to ensure we meet performance ambitions within a highly competitive market environment.

Respiratory is an extremely important for GSK as one of the main growth drivers. It is dynamic and competitive therapy area where GSK is offering a portfolio set to positively help Asthma and COPD patients.

Job Purpose:

Plan and execute the respiratory brand activities and the strategic operational plan to achieve commercial brand success with focusing on external interactions to collect robust insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spend 50% of time in the field for maximum customer engagement and insight generation.
  • Unlock the business opportunities and demonstrate a growth mindset and vision of 2-4 years as well as long range forecasting.
  • Collaborate with local medical, market access, Omnichannel team, and sales teams for effective HCP engagement.
  • Engage with external experts and key groups for deep customer insights and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Work cross-functionally to provide regular market and customer insights.
  • Ensure optimal implementation of the operational Plans and orchestrate all activities that have been implemented at the customer level to ensure end-to-end brand management.
  • Manage local congresses and GSK led events, both digital and face-to-face.
  • Execute global integrated campaigns flawlessly, customizing them to address customer personas and segments, including both face-to-face and digital components.
  • Collaborate with Selling Excellence for team readiness and conduct field force training on strategy and product knowledge.
  • Ensure resources allocation is in line with the decided priorities.
  • Work closely with relevant cross functional teams, Market access, CTC and sales force, to prepare and execute the access to ensure timely patients' access to GSK's medications.

Knowledge and Application:

  • Coordinate the local approval process for promotional campaigns, ensuring adherence to monthly cycle deadlines and conducting business in accordance with GSK internal policies and country-specific regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketing techniques, selling skills, and compliance frameworks to effectively support the measurement of tools and gain approvals within the appropriate governance framework.
  • Possess knowledge of internal metrics and stakeholders to identify the appropriate individuals involved in decision-making processes for delivering operational plans.
 

Problem solving and Innovation:

  • Effective problem-solving skills are essential for leading the successful implementation of the operational plan.
  • The role also involves drawing connections between innovative approaches, customer shifts, utilizing knowledge of existing tools and platforms to ensure their relevance and keep them updated.

Interaction:

  • Adhere to GSK policies and compliance standards in all business activities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as sales, medical, regulatory, and others to lead and influence efforts aimed at gathering customer insights, ensuring a mutually beneficial outcome for customers, patients, and GSK.

Basic qualifications:

  • A pharmacist is a must, with valid SHCC.
  • 3 or more years of experience in Saudi Pharma industry.
  • Proven track of successful performance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Preferred to have 1 or more years of experience in marketing role ‘’permanent or assignment role ‘or 1 year experience as VAM/SAM/KAM.
  • Experience in Respiratory is considered a plus.
  • Master level degree in Sales and marketing is considered a plus.

Essential skills and abilities:

  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate strong project management and problem-solving capabilities. Have a good understanding of customer insights and campaign development.
  • Exhibit proficiency in strategic marketing competencies.
  • Understand analytics and performance management.
  • Capable of collaborating across boundaries and working in cross-functional areas.
  • Competent in thriving within a multicultural environment.
  • Display high resilience and agility.
