Job Description:

The Kitting associate oversees daily kitting operations, ensuring that kits are assembled accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role is responsible for supervising the kitting team, coordinating workflows, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across kitting and fulfillment processes.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily kitting activities and workflows
  • Lead, train, and support Kitting Associates to meet productivity and quality targets
  • Ensure kits are assembled according to bills of materials (BOM), work instructions, and customer requirements
  • Monitor accuracy, output, and turnaround times of kitting operations
  • Enforce quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, delays, or discrepancies
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, inventory, logistics teams and also directly with the client
  • Manage inventory flow related to kitting and report shortages or variances
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and performance metrics
  • Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in kitting, warehouse, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations
  • Strong understanding of kitting processes, inventory control, and workflow management
  • Ability to read and interpret BOMs, work instructions, and operational procedures
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tools
