The US Insurance practice continues to expand and grow to deliver value for our clients across the business and technology outcomes. Roles and Responsibilities:

We have a fast-growing team of dedicated consultants with deep experience from working both within the industry and consulting. Successful candidates should expect a diverse range of complex and strategic engagements across the Insurance market. As we continue to expand our client base and expertise, we are looking for individuals to join our team to support our growth journey. Please see below an outline of the responsibilities of the role as well as the requirements.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Independently managing highly successful client engagements to achieve strong client satisfaction rating, from current state analysis and project design through to delivery of detailed target operating models and implementation roadmaps
  • Developing enterprise and functional strategies, including shared services and operating model strategies, to set our clients up for success, driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and to budget
  • Analyzing clients' business needs to identify key issues and propose solutions and recommendations, including future operating model options, AI-enabled automation opportunities, and technology-enabled transformation
  • Leading target operating model design across people, process, technology, data, and governance, with a strong grounding in insurance and Property & Casualty (P&C) operating environments
  • Developing emerging, high-level financial business cases, progressing to detailed business cases that articulate value, investment requirements, and benefits realization
  • Monitoring progress, managing risks and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress of the project and expected outcomes
  • Bringing together diverse stakeholders to work effectively in partnership, including business, technology, and operations leaders
  • Managing and motivating junior colleagues, supporting their professional development
  • Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and networks
  • Identifying and executing appropriate client/ vendor entertainment opportunities
  • Clearly articulating Alpha offerings and credentials, particularly across management consulting, insurance transformation, target operating models, shared services, and technology-enabled change
  • Staying abreast of insurance, Property & Casualty (P&C), technology transformation, and AI-enabled automation trends relevant to the client's business
  • Making a strong contribution towards business development, including shaping consulting propositions, responding to RFPs, and supporting growth in insurance and P&C transformation
  • Undertaking effective account management, including financial management

We want to hear from people with:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in the delivery of management consulting, strategy, operating model, or change projects, gained within a leading financial institution or consulting firm
  • Significant experience within ‘blue-chip’ consulting firms focused on the insurance sector, including insurance carriers and brokers, with a strong preference for Property & Casualty (P&C)
  • Experience on projects focused on Target Operating Models, shared services, business process transformation, technology transformation, and AI-enabled automation, including: Current state assessments, Future operating model options, Detailed target operating model design, Business case development, and Implementation roadmaps
  • Experience across one or more of the following insurance domains: Sales & Marketing, Distribution, Underwriting and PAS, Claims, Operations, IT, Data, and broader insurance transformation initiatives
  • Business development/ account management experience and a proactive interest in contributing to the growth of the insurance and consulting practice
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, confident at structuring and articulating complex messages to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to show initiative when dealing with clients, form strong relationships with new clients and maintain existing relationships
  • The ability and desire to proffer good mentorship and coaching skills towards other team members
  • Familiarity with key topics and themes in the insurance sector, including strategy, operating models, technology transformation, and P&C market dynamics

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the range is $125,000 and $160,000 subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, employees would be eligible for both variable and non-variable benefits.
