The SOS Intern is designed to provide interns with exposure and learning opportunities emphasizing a focus on cementing operations. SOS Interns may be assigned to one or more functional departments including but not limited to Sales, Operations and Engineering.
Essential duties include the following:
- Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
- Will spend time learning about Spinnaker, attending new hire safety orientation, learning/observing basic cementing equipment and field services.
- Time may be spent with different functional departments ranging from Operations, Engineering/Technical services, Sales or other groups. The majority of task assignments and training conducted will be in a mentored and supervised role.
- Must be willing to become involved in actual direct labor tasks if they are deemed necessary in the understanding of all aspects of Operations.
- Will be evaluated on an ongoing basis with input from the primary mentors.
- Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
- This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
