CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer! As a member of a small architecture and planning team you will work with the government customer transforming legacy applications into a cloud environment. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide system engineering support across the enterprise’s IT disciplines (i.e. Virtual & Physical Servers, Cloud technologies, Network, etc).

  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of IT requirements, design, and technology. Assist with the capability development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system engineering integration and test plans.  Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.

  • Communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers at all levels of seniority

  • Manage Azure configuration and policies using automated methods (that means writing scripts, code, etc. to implement including CLI) – knowledge of JSON and Python helps too

  • Track down the root cause of a service/application failure through the use of logs and CLI-based tools (Log-based Analysis, not just guessing)

  • Perform integrations with network devices, such as VPN, firewall, routing

  • Work independently or on very small teams to integrate systems and solutions, triage issues, and prioritize tasks

  • Create and coordinate technical solutions. This will involve briefing solutions to other members of the team.

  • You may be asked to attend meetings, obtain credentials, etc. Virtually (with and without a camera), in a CACI or government office at any time
