JOB DESCRIPTION:

Following a promotion, we are recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) team, supporting London and the South of England.
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

Main responsibilities include:

  • To develop a high performing team.
  • To maintain, develop and grow critical KOL relationships.
  • To be accountable for the results of sales revenues within your region.
  • To liaise effectively with the Commercial team.
  • Ensure implementation of defined strategies developed with the purpose of growing market share and revenue generation from Abbott Medical’s CRM products within the geographic boundaries assigned.
  • To be fully responsible for all HR related activities including mentoring and development for all direct reports.
  • Be a strong player within the CRM leadership team, taking responsibility for own development and demonstrating the desire and capability to go over and above the role responsibilities to add value to the division.
  • To be conversant in and able to effectively to communicate the rationale of using Abbott's CRM products.

What you'll need:

  • A Degree in life sciences or relevant subject
  • Experience within medical devices sales
  • A proven record of cycles of success within sales, with other functional experience alongside ideal
  • Demonstrable experience of coaching / developing people
  • Leadership qualities, strategic thinking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Results orientated, problem solver, presentation, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good negotiation skills
