Overview
The Japan Talent Acquisition Sourcer is responsible for direct sourcing and building talent pipelines for IT and consulting professionals in the Japanese market, including engineers, consultants, and project managers.
This role works closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers across IT and delivery organizations to help secure top talent that supports DXC Technology’s IT services business.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for mid-career and early-career IT and consulting talent in Japan
(e.g., software engineers, infrastructure/cloud engineers, SAP/ERP consultants, project managers)
- Conduct IT talent research using LinkedIn, BizReach, OpenWork, social media, and other sourcing channels
- Plan and execute direct sourcing strategies aligned with hiring needs across various IT functions
- Utilize AI tools to create effective outreach messages and improve candidate response rates
- Build and maintain long-term talent pools and candidate relationships for future hiring needs
- Partner with Hiring Managers to understand technical requirements, skill sets, experience areas, and project backgrounds
- Conduct initial candidate screening and recommend qualified candidates to Recruiters
- Manage and analyze recruitment data
(e.g., Workday reporting and sourcing channel effectiveness)
- Support employer branding initiatives for IT hiring
(e.g., tech events, virtual recruiting events, campaigns)
- Research and share insights on Japan’s IT talent market, technology trends, and competitor activities
Qualifications
Must Have
- Experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or sourcing within IT/technology industries
- Knowledge of the Japanese IT talent market and engineering hiring trends
- Experience using direct sourcing tools
(e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, BizReach, and other IT-focused recruiting platforms)
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
- English proficiency sufficient for reading/writing and basic communication with global teams
Nice to Have
- Recruiting or work experience in SIers, IT consulting firms, or multinational technology companies
- Understanding of engineering roles and IT skills such as cloud technologies, SAP, or application development
- Interest or experience in employer branding and data-driven recruiting
