We're looking for an Applications & Data Analyst intern to join our team!

 **Current applications submitted will be under consideration for Summer 2025 (May - August)**

Primary Responsibilities

  • Will be assigned a project-focused opportunity as a Data Analyst in a data integrity management role and works directly with NISC’s internal Enterprise Applications Team
  • May work with internal and external audiences to validate data sets
  • Monitor the day-to-day operations of NISC’s database management system
  • Work closely with different departments on creating queries, imports, and exports of data for analytical reports 
  • Consistently check the day-to-day integrity of database and database procedures; identifying and eliminating duplicate records 
  • Maintain corporate and individual relationship links between platforms 
  • Batch importing data to maintain data accuracy over a large number of records 
  • Assist with all general database maintenance (cleaning obsolete queries, maintaining records according to style guides, accurately updating information on all records) 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Essential Functions

  • Involves routine tasks of limited scope associated entirely with ensuring data is properly managed
  • Works on clearly defined weekly tasks
  • Follows specific, outlined, and detailed procedures
  • Get hands-on experience of using and managing data
  • Learn how to analyze large amounts of data via various reports
  • Hone investigative skills when tracking down records, queries, duplicates, and errors within database
  • Practice good data hygiene habits, useful for record-keeping and keeping a synced data ecosystem running
  • Gain familiarity with Salesforce and ServiceNow platforms

  • Utilize Excel, Word and PowerPoint

 Desired Education and/or Certifications:

  • College junior/senior as of Fall 2025 or pursuing relevant certification
    (such as a Salesforce certification)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with database concepts 
  • Ability to clean and research data sets
  • Must be willing to learn new computer programs and technology 
  • A quick learner who is flexible, and computer-savvy 
  • Authorized to work in the United States
