We are seeking a Logistics Technician to support our shipping, inventory, and material handling operations. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing products for shipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials move safely and efficiently through the facility. What You Will Do

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Keep shelves, walkways, pallet areas, and workstations clean and organized to support efficient material flow.

  • Stock materials and convert work orders to ensure products are ready for shipment.

  • Create pick tickets and Certificates of Conformance (C of C) for review and sign-off with quality inspection.

  • Process domestic and international shipments using SAP.

  • Utilize customer portals to process shipments and generate Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs).

  • Create shipping and serial number labels using FedEx Ship Manager and Label Matrix.

  • Prepare, package, and stage parcels for shipment to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Perform manual counts and scanning to support physical inventory accuracy.

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, and burden carriers.

  • Cross-train across logistics functions to support operational flexibility and meet shipment deadlines.

What You Will Learn

  • Best practices in aerospace logistics and shipping operations.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise systems such as SAP and customer shipping portals.

  • How to support domestic and international shipping compliance.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse, material handling or similar operations.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.

  • Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process and safety procedures.

  • Experience with FedEx Ship Manager, Label Matrix, or similar shipping software.

  • Experience with inventory control or cycle counting.

  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing or regulated industry environment.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
